Hey look! New content!
So... haven't been reading new stuff lately (as I mentioned in the last post). But Franny and I each have an article in this month's edition of that nifty online zine, The Comic Foundry.
True to form, Franny writes something intellectual, citing actual theories and forming coherent sentences.
I, on the other hand, write something that is equal parts ZOMGFLAIL and fanboy snark.
So go, check that out. Let us know what you think, and maybe we'll do that again.
...If you're here because you Googled one of us after reading our stuff in CF, welcome! Please take a look at the "Best Of" links to the right, and enjoy your stay.

Amy, you've got the wrong link for your article. I'd read it last week and thought it was a bold experiment in sensory deprivation/overload and wanted to comment then, but had no place to go. Not that my comment is all that interesting, but the first time I'd ever seen or heard of the Cord (which made the BTAS reference that much cooler) was in this throwaway movie from the '60s. So Bruce was driving a supercool spy car as far as I was concerned!
And here's the link to Amy's great exercise in willpower.
Holy cats, you're both still alive!
Hi, I just came across Franny's posting on amoxtli & thought you might be interested in a radio program I produced on Gilbert & Jaime Hernandez' Love & Rockets. The program is about an hour-long and can be downloaded as mp3s either as a full version or broken into two parts, because it originally aired in two parts on Pacifica KPFK in Los Angeles. Yesterday it aired on Kill Radio, a radical webcast collective in LA. The program is free for non-commercial use, and I have higher-quality audio available as well on CD.
Please check it out & if you like it, feel free to re-broadcast/re-distribute/let people know about it. here's the address:

thanks!
Aren't you thrilled to know that Scipio of The Absorbascon considers you the acceptable face of feminism?
Apparently the other girls play too rough for him, if I understand his rambling analogy.

I have read a few good stuff here. Certainly worth bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how much effort you put to create such a fantastic informative site.
